Dr. Annie Watt is a Specialist in Poisons Information (SPI) with the UK National Poisons Information Service (NPIS) in Edinburgh, Scotland, a position she's held since 2016. She earned a BSc (Hons) in Immunology and Pharmacology from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow in 2014, followed by an MSc in Analytical Science - Drug Analysis and Toxicology from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen in 2015. Dr. Watt furthered her training with a PgDip in Medical Toxicology from Cardiff University in 2017. At NPIS, her duties include providing poison information and management advice to UK healthcare professionals, contributing to the review and editing of TOXBASE®, and conducting toxicology research projects.
