Dr. Duaa Al Lawati

Dr. Duaa Al Lawati was born and raised in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. She earned her basic science and medical degree at Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain and is board-certified in emergency medicine by the Oman Medical Specialty Board. Currently, she practices in one of Oman’s busiest tertiary care hospitals. Dr. Al Lawati is completing her medical toxicology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia (2023–2025), where she is also working on initiatives to improve operations at the Oman Poison Center. Her primary professional interests focus on occupational and environmental toxicology.
