Dr. Jerry Thomas
Dr. Jerry Thomas is currently the Associate Director for Science in the Division of Laboratory Sciences at the National Center for Environmental Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a position he has held since 2011. In the academic sphere, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Toxicology Section, at Emory University School of Medicine since 1997.
Dr. Thomas holds a joint and secondary appointment as a Consulting Toxicologist at the Georgia Poison Center, contributing to this role since 1997 as well. Additionally, he is actively involved in clinical practice as an Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine at Grady Memorial Hospital, Emory University Hospital, and Emory University Hospital Midtown.
