Dr. Melissa Heeb White, MD, MPH, is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, since 2017. She serves as an Attending Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at multiple hospitals within the Emory University Hospital System since 2005. Dr. White has held significant administrative roles, including Medical Director at Atlanta Technical School’s EMS Services (2023) and Director of Alumni Relations at Emory’s Department of Emergency Medicine (2023).

Her career includes extensive experience in medical education and emergency medicine, having been involved in various roles at Emory University, including Program Director of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program.
