Dr. Badria Alhatali is a renowned medical toxicologist and emergency medicine consultant. Since 2018, she has led the Poison Control Section at the Ministry of Health. She also serves as a consultant in the Emergency Medicine Department at the Royal Hospital since 2015 and as the Program Director of the Emergency Medicine Program at the Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) since 2022. Additionally, Dr. Alhatali chairs the International Advisory Board for the NIHR RIGHT4 project and is the President of the Middle East and North Africa Clinical Toxicology Association. Her credentials include a Medical Toxicology certification (2014) and an OMSB Emergency Medicine Board certification (2012), along with an Arab Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
