Dr. Jou-Fang Deng
Dr. Deng has the training background of Internal Medicine, Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology
as well as Occupational Medicine. Dr. Deng set up the Taiwan Poison Control Center (PCC) in
1985. From 1989 to 2013, he served the directorship of the National PCC of Taiwan. For the past
40 years, he also devoted himself in serving the presidency of the following National and
International Academia Organization: 1. The Environmental and Occupational Medical Association
of Taiwan; 2. The Toxicology Society of Taiwan; 3. Asia-Pacific Association of Medical Toxicology; 4.
The Asia Society of Toxicology. Though, he officially retired from TVGH in 2017, he is still actively
seeing patients, doing teaching and research in TVGH. He is happy to collaborate with international
colleagues.
