Sara AlBalushi Graduated from Strathclyde University school of Pharmacy in the year 1999 and obtained her master degree from UK in the 2009.Sara has 25 years’ experience in the Directorate General of Medical supplies (Ministry of Health Oman) where she worked in various positioned, currently holding the post of the director of pharmaceutical care directorate.
Main accomplishment includes, developing a strategy for the pharmaceutical care departments within ministry of health hospitals, Creating policies and procedures for all the pharmaceutical care services at both tertiary, secondary and primary care level, Boost pharmaceutical care activities that ensure a standardized pharmacy practice according to Joined commission international and American society for health system pharmacist that focuses on a patient centered pharmacy practice, implementation of medication safety tools and techniques to prevent medication errors and propose solutions by working with the medication safety offers at hospital levels and provides professional development and career guidance for the pharmacist in ministry of health under the pharmaceutical care program.
Currently sara in her final you’re of PHD where she is specialized in polypharmacy management and organisational change
