Dr. Tharwat El Zahran is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. She is the director of operations and co-director of the toxicology service at the department of emergency medicine. Dr. Zahran completed her medical toxicology fellowship at Emory University and Centers of Disease Control and Pervention, and she holds an adjunct faculty position at Emory University.
