
Dr. Norah Alharthy
Dr. Norah Alharthy is a dedicated Occupational Medicine Specialist with a strong academic and professional background in occupational health. She completed her Residency Program in Occupational Medicine in 2022 and earned her Master’s Degree in Occupational Medicine in 2018, both from Saudi Arabia.
Currently, Dr. Alharthy serves as the Head of the Occupational Health Section at the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health within the Ministry of Health, Sultanate of Oman. In this role, she oversees initiatives aimed at promoting workplace health and safety, ensuring compliance with occupational health standards, and addressing the unique health needs of workers across various industries.
In addition to her leadership role, Dr. Alharthy is an active member of the Fitness to Work and Disability Committee, where she contributes her expertise to evaluate and support the health and well-being of employees in alignment with national and international guidelines.
Dr. Alharthy’s commitment to advancing occupational medicine and her passion for improving workplace health outcomes make her a valuable asset to the Ministry of Health and the broader field of occupational health in Oman.
