Mr. Nicholas Brooke

Mr. Nicholas Brooke is a toxicologist with over 15 years experience in both poisons centres and chemical public health fields and is currently employed by the Radiation, Chemical and Environmental Hazards (RCCE) at the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA). Nick is currently leading on projects to strengthen chemical capacity in Zambia and Nigeria and works closely with the WHO on the African Network of Poison Control Centres (ANPCC). He is the one of the lead authors of the updated WHO Guidelines for Establishing a Poisons Centre and is involved in establishing a European EHP partnership on poisons centres. Previously Nick has been involved in a wide range of UK chemical incidents including the Grenfell fire and the Novichok nerve agent poisonings.
