Dr. Naif Alharbi

Dr. Alharbi is the Director of Public Health Emergency at the Gulf CDC in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with over 15 years of expertise in vaccine development, clinical trials, translational research, infectious diseases, and pandemic science, as well as biosafety and biosecurity.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Medical Microbiology, a Master's in Molecular Medical Microbiology, and a Ph.D. in Virology and Vaccinology from Oxford University, where he also completed a post-doctoral fellowship focused on MERS-Coronavirus vaccine development.

Dr. Alharbi serves on numerous national and international committees related to his fields of expertise, contributing his knowledge to critical public health and biosecurity initiatives.
