Paul Dargan is a Professor of Clinical Toxicology in London, UK. He has an active research programme with research collaborators throughout the world across a range of projects related to recreational drug/NPS toxicity, self-poisoning and heavy metal toxicity. He has published over 400 peer-reviewed papers and edited a number of books. He is a Commissioner to the UK Commission on Human Medicines and an expert advisor to the UK Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD), European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the World Health Organisation (WHO). He is President of the European Association of Poisons Centres and Clinical Toxicologists (EAPCCT).
